3M Double Coated Film Tape 9578 is a medium tack double coated film tape with pressure sensitive 3M Acrylic Adhesive 400, a medium firm adhesive with quick stick. It offers a balance of high initial adhesion and good holding power for diecutting, web splicing and general purpose bonding applications.

3M Double Coated Tape 9578 is a 4.0 mil double coated tape constructed on a handtearable translucent polypropylene carrier coated on both sides with 3M Adhesive 400. The thin, tough, polypropylene carrier between the adhesive layers improves the handling and strength of the tape. A hard, smooth 54 lb. densified kraft paper release liner provides reliable performance for industrial applications like diecutting and automated dispensers. It works exceptionally well in low temperatures, with an operating range of 60� to 250； (51。 to 121。). It provides medium adhesion to metals, HSE and LSE plastics, and foam, and shows medium resistance to chemical environments. It also stands up well to humidity.
