MED 6503SI is a doublecoated, transparent polyurethane filmwith a soft silicone adhesive (SSA) to adhere to the skin,and an acrylic adhesive suitable for a wide variety ofmaterials. The softness, conformability, and therepositionability of the silicone adhesive offers a highdegree of user comfort. The 3mm/0.11 perforation pattern inthe trilaminate construction provides breathabilitythrough its perforations, allows for exudate and moisturemanagement, and reduces skin maceration. The siliconeadhesive side of the roll is supplied with a blue LDPErelease liner. The acrylic adhesive contains a whitesiliconized paper liner.
TYPICAL APPLICATION
Designed for conversion as a silicone wound contact layer (SWCL) into multilayered advanced woundcare dressings. Application areas also include patient monitoring, wearables and ostomy flanges.
