At The Tape Lab we help food and beverage manufacturers meet FDA government regulations and provide the important documents with our products that help them meet the FDA stringent requirements to claim “FDA Approved Tape”.
We specialize in manufacturing custom “food grade” adhesive tapes and materials that meet the safety FDA Regulations for direct and indirect food contact. We have tapes that meet FFDCA Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act requirements for direct contact with food under the provisions set forth in 21 CFR, Parts 170-199 and specifically, Section 177.
The Tape Lab has the expertise to recommend and manufacture the right FDA direct and indirect approved tapes and films to keep your company compliant. We have an ISO 8 Clean Room for manufacturing when a controlled manufacturing environment is needed and required. We offer sample rolls of our FDA tapes and die-cuts to support design and pre-production runs. We also offer speed of our sample deliveries as we know how important it is to get resolutions with the FDA to keep your business open and manufacturing.
Food Grade Materials
The Tape Lab offers Food Grade materials in many different configurations. We offer rubber adhesives (both natural and synthetic rubber) and hot melt on a Polyester (PET), Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP, MOPP and BOPP), PTFE, and crosslinked foam backing materials. We offer these materials with colored backing options as well.
